These are old electric fan ink blotters advertising dating to the teens and twenties are from my personal collection. Most noteworthy, from my electric fan company page, you can see there were many manufacturers of electric motors in the early days. As a result, I hope you enjoy the following images.
Especially relevant is that in the days when everyone has fountain pens, the one essential item that you can find on writing desks is an ink blotter. Hence, Ink blotters were usually made of a soft absorbent paper formed into a card and were used to dry up excess ink. The opposite side of the absorbent paper is often advertisements.

Here is a Crocker-Wheeler Electric Motors 1917 Advertising Ink Blotter. As a matter of fact, Emerson Electric Fans also use the pyramid “built to last” logo on their cage badges.
